Sooooo, what year is it in this ep? What year was “Silence in the Library”?

River is dead, so the Doctor & friends are in Trenzalore after she died/was “saved” in the library?

RIVER IS DEAD IN THIS EP???? *cries* So missed that the first time around!

If she’s dead here, was she dead in seasons…

Her timeline looks a bit like this:

Born on the asteroid “Demons Run” sometime in the far future.

Spent the first years of her life in an orphanage in Florida in the 1960s.

Grew up in Leadworth in the 1990s.

Started studying archaeology at a university in the 51st century.

The events of seasons five and six, plus The Angels Take Manhattan, happened. Fought the Silence, married the Doctor, helped fake the Doctor’s death, etc.

Went to the Library. Died, but an echo of her was saved to the Library’s hard drive.

Her echo goes to Trenzalore via psychic link with Clara, where she finally says a proper good-bye to the Doctor.
